Transmission Electron Microscopy Grids,
or TEM Grids, are utilized in TEM microscopes. TEM Grids are generally made of
copper because of the low potential to alter the magnetic field of the
objective lens. Other materials such as nickel, gold, titanium, aluminum, and
stainless steel can also be used for TEM Grids, depending on the unique
microscopic requirements.
Electron Microscopy Sciences provides
many TEM Grids in materials like copper, gold, and nickel. Mesh size ranges
from 200, 300, and 400 and is manufactured in-house and through Quantifoil

Specimen Support Grids
Specimen Support Grids are flat discs
with mesh or holes used to hold thin sections of the specimen in position. EMS
