Hexachlorofluorescein (HEX) derivatives

HEX is a green-yellow emitting dye; the HEX channel is one of the main channels in multiplex qPCR.

HEX phosphoramidite can be used to synthesize fluorescently labeled primers and various hybridization probes for qPCR.

HEX azide easily enters into azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (Click chemistry reactions) with oligonucleotides containing an alkyne moiety.
