DU 145 Cells
As cancer researchers continue to make groundbreaking discoveries, we continuously search for ways we can better support those who are at the helm. In doing so, we are happy to announce that we are now providing DU 145 Cells (cat no. DU001), a Human Prostate Cancer Cell line.
DU 145 cells are one of the pillar Prostate Cancer Cell lines used in therapeutics research. These cells were derived from a Prostate Carcinoma metastatic site in the brain of a 69-year-old Caucasian male. DU 145 cells are not hormone-sensitive and do not express Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA).
As seen in the image above, these cells express KRT18 and KRT19, two markers of prostate cancer. View more data here.
The introduction of these DU 145 cells follows our prior addition of GFP Expressing DU 145 cells (cat no. TR03-GFP) and RFP Expressing DU 145 cells (cat no. TR03-RFP) last year. You can find all of our cancer cells along with our popular CAFs here.
