An agonist
for selective activation of hM3Dq (excitatory) and hM4Di (inhibitory)
DREADDs. A widely used chemogenetic tool for remotely controlling neuronal
activity. This product is dihydrochloride salt, a water-soluble
version of DREADD agonist 21.

A turn-on
fluorescent chemical probe for specific labeling and visualizing microglia
in cell cultures and live brains. The glucuronidation of CDr20
by Ugt1a7c in microglia produces bright red fluorescence coinciding
with the expression of markers P2ry12, Csf1r, Cx3cr1, and Iba−1.

| Fluo-4 AM and Fluo-8 AM, green
fluorescent calcium indicators
Cell-permeable
Ca2+-indicators are metabolized by intracellular esterase,
leading to a bright green fluorescent signal upon Ca2+-binding.
Fluo-4 AM and Fluo-8 AM are well suited for fluorometric and imaging
applications.
